Delicious Dishes Locally Sourced

Our relaxed, stylish brasserie is the perfect setting to enjoy a freshly cooked meal, freshly prepared using some of the best local produce around.

Great Provenance, Seasonal Produce

We firmly believe in buying local and supporting our county and regional suppliers. This makes sense for many reasons. Not just that it’s better for the environment, but it means quality is better ensured and we can take advantage of market prices on your behalf.

From local fish caught on S&P boats and landed at Appledore, to prime West Country meats, seasonal vegetables picked at The Great Field in Braunton we carefully source and choose our produce.

What Customers Say

“We were recommended Sunday lunch here by neighbours, and we weren’t disappointed. We were looked after by staff who displayed old fashioned courtesy, from taking and hanging up our coats to the very attentive restaurant staff.
The food was absolutely delicious, a measured menu, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The decor and ambiance was second to none, we had an infant with us, and everyone was most accommodating. We will certainly be visiting again, and can thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting a substantial Sunday lunch” Carol Talbot

Just back from the St Patrick’s Day lunch and what can I say? What a stunning brasserie! Very classy decor and tasteful… wonderful helpful staff…. Nick, Dawn and Sue were certainly working their socks off but still had time to be cheery with each and every diner. The food was exquisite, beautifully presented… and delicious! Michael was an exceptional and charming host and has without a doubt worked very hard to put this lovely brasserie on the map. I am a local and will be recommending The Brasserie to other locals and friends eager to stay in Ilfracombe.” Sue Ratcliff

“Out for Sunday lunch today September  15th was absolutely gorgeous – for all 7 of us and 4 little ones! We all recommend this hotel for Sunday lunch and the staff were brilliant” Chris H
